The Mercedes-Benz W126 is a series of flagship vehicles manufactured by German automotive marque Mercedes- Benz. Premiering in September 1979 as the successor to the earlier W116 line, the W126 was the second generation of the Mercedes- Benz flagship to officially bear the S-Class name referring to Sonderklasse or "special class." The Mercedes-Benz R107 automobiles were produced from 1971 through 1989, being the longest single series ever produced by the firm, besides the G-Class. They were sold under the SLClass and SLC-Class model names. The R107 replaced the W113 SL-Class in 1972 and was replaced by the R129 SL-Class in 1989. Due to the shape of the sholders of the 107 seat, the belts have a natural tendency to fall down behind the seat and also to get snagged in the seat mechanism.The kit comes with a pair of retainers, one for each seat. This kit encourages the driver to use their seat belts because it is no longer a chore to find the belts. The retainers are made with UV resistant smoke colored acrylic material that will compliment the interior of your car. This kit will work with Any SL 107 Chassis Mercedes Convertible vehicle.
